Postdoctoral Researcher

Jingyu Sun
jsun20@stevens.edu

Jingyu is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the department of biomedical engineering. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Stevens Institute of Technology with an outstanding achievement award. She is interested in developing functional nanomaterials for theranostics, optical bioimaging and bioengineering.

Research Technician

Andre Faubert
afaubert@stevens.edu

Andre is a biomedical engineering undergraduate at Stevens Institute of Technology. He has a background in computer programming, 3D modeling, and digital image processing which he aspires to apply to improving our understanding of cellular and biological systems. Outside of academics, he competes as a starter on the varsity men's epee team. In his scarce free time, he likes to cook, dream up engineering solutions to improve his fencing equipment, and learn about starting up a business.

Graduate Researcher

Tianqi Fang
tfang3@stevens.edu

Tianqi received his Bachelor’s degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University and Master’s degree from Shenzhen University. He is interested in bioimaging and has prior experiences in spectral computed tomography and image processing. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, and his research focuses on developing new bioimaging capabilities based on optical coherence tomography.

Huan Han
hhan14@stevens.edu

Huan received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Engineering from Northwest A&F University. She did research in cellular & molecular biology focusing on plant genetics for her Master’s degree from California State University, East Bay. She is currently a Ph.D. student in biomedical engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, and she is interested in the study of developmental and reproductive biology using dynamic imaging approaches.

Aleese Mukhamedjanova
amukhame@stevens.edu

Aleese received her bachelor's and master's at Stevens Institute of Technology in 2022 and has since returned to the scene to pursue her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering. She is interested in exploring the intersection of engineering, reproductive biology, and medical anthropology with the intent of addressing maternal health issues. In her free time, Aleese enjoys reading horror novels and doodling on her notes.
